McLean Park Christmas Tree Lighting

Santa will bring his friends to McLean Park for the ultimate Christmas tree lighting event in North Myrtle Beach! Enjoy Christmas music, live entertainment, caroling, and more during this exciting holiday tradition. This is a free event that all ages can enjoy to bring in the holiday season.
North Myrtle Beach Christmas Parade on Main Street

After Santa helps light the tree, he’ll make his way around North Myrtle Beach, and you can rejoin him and Mrs. Claus for the annual North Myrtle Beach parade on Main Street! Kicking off at 5:30 pm, you can watch in amazement as holiday-themed floats and cars make their way through town, spreading joy and laughter. Be sure to head to Second Avenue North and Ocean Boulevard to see the special guest announcers and find out who takes home the crown for the best float!
Intracoastal Christmas Regatta
Nov. 28, 2026 | 5 PM
Switch up your holiday tradition and catch a ride on the Barefoot Queen Riverboat for the Intracoastal Christmas Regatta. Enjoy a festive dinner on the water with Christmas treats, games, prizes, and live entertainment! Get the best view of the Regatta and join in as a parade participant. The price for adults starts at $89.99, with a $5 discount if you bring a toy to give away.
Dashing Through the Glow
Nov. 20-21, 2026 | 7 PM
For a sneak preview of the Great Christmas Light Show, look no further than Dashing Through the Glow! This walk and run follows a two-mile route through a series of colorful lights before ending at Santa’s Village. Come dressed in your best holiday outfit for a chance to win a prize, and warm up with a cup of hot chocolate after crossing the finish line. This event costs $25 for adults and $10 for children ages 11 and under.
Lighitng of the Landing
Nov. 21, 2026 | 6 PM
Kick off the early part of the holiday season at the annual Lighting of the Landing! Gather along the waterfront at Barefoot Landing for some fun, festive entertainment before the Christmas tree lights up at 7 PM. A stunning fireworks display over the lake will come right after the tree lighting, and you can stick around for a special visit from Santa.
The Great Christmas Light Show
Nov. 23 – Dec. 30 | 5:30 PM
Spend the night surrounded by holiday cheer at the Great Christmas Light Show! This drive-through experience features over two million lights with over 500 displays along a 2-mile route through the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex. On certain nights, you can also explore Santa’s Village for treats like hot chocolate and s’mores, as well as festive activities, train rides, and a visit with Santa Claus himself! The show is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, with standard vehicle admission at $25 on Santa’s Village nights and $20 on non-Village nights until Dec. 9.
